Fuel Policy
How fuel levels are managed at pickup, during your rental, and at return.
Effective: January 1, 2026
Fuel-Level Rule
Peepoos vehicles must be returned with the same fuel level as when they were picked up. It is the subscriber's responsibility to check and confirm the fuel level at pickup and ensure it is matched upon return.
Return the vehicle with the same fuel level as at pickup.
Failure to do so will result in a refueling fee.
Refueling Fee
Refueling Fee: Up to $50 + cost of missing fuel
If a vehicle is not returned with the required fuel level, Peepoos will charge a refueling fee of up to $50 plus the cost of the missing fuel at current market rates.
The refueling fee covers Peepoos's cost of refueling the vehicle before the next rental. The cost of missing fuel is calculated based on the price per gallon at the nearest gas station at the time of return.
Your Responsibilities
Check and note the fuel level at pickup before driving away.
Report any discrepancy in the stated fuel level to Peepoos before leaving the pickup location.
Refuel the vehicle before returning it if the fuel level has dropped below the pickup level.
Use the correct fuel type as specified in the vehicle — using the wrong fuel may result in damage fees.
Keep your fuel receipt if you refuel shortly before returning the vehicle, in case of any dispute.
Fuel Type
Each Peepoos vehicle requires a specific fuel type (regular, premium, or electric charging). The required fuel type is noted in your booking confirmation and displayed in the vehicle.
Using the incorrect fuel type may damage the vehicle's engine or fuel system. Subscribers are financially responsible for any damage resulting from using the wrong fuel type, up to the full repair cost.
For electric vehicles, the vehicle must be returned with at least the same battery charge percentage as at pickup.
